During the event, the brand had the opportunity to meet a PETA-supporting actress adah sharma who had recently starred in the movie “Commando.” When she was given a chance to try the hot chocolate, she expressed her delight by saying, “Wow, this is so nice!
This Bangalore-based vegan brand recently made its debut in India, introducing four delightful flavors of vegan tea mixes: Cardamom, Ginger, Masala, and Fennel as per Vegan Gyan.
These innovative blends quickly gained popularity among consumers, prompting the company to expand its product line to include a vegan coffee mix just a month later. Plant yum’s journey
“Yum Plant,” a venture established under the umbrella of “kindled foods,” is owned by a former head of operations at SHARAN (Sanctuary for Health And Reconnection to Animals and Nature), Shalu Nijhawan.
After completing her degree, she embarked on a five-year career at a public bank. However, her passion for baking and her love for cakes ultimately led her to pursue further studies in London. Upon returning to India, she fulfilled her dream of becoming a successful cake cafe owner in Bangalore.
Along the way, Shalu’s interest in the power of food to improve health grew, during that time she started helping her family and friends reverse diseases through dietary changes, Leveraging her certification as a Holistic Nutrition and Health Coach, acquired from the American Fitness Professionals Association (AFPA) And she became a Nutritional Consultant at SHARAN (Sanctuary for Health And Reconnection to Animals and Nature).
